Thank you very much for the :+fav:. I hope you see the meaning and emotion in my gallery. Yes, it is huge, but I am compelled to create. At my age, taking up something new like this... it must have meaning and be necessary.

Hello! :P

I personally think a good photograph doesn't necessarily need a story. Through the years, there've been plenty of artists who even protested against meaning and background with their art, while their art certainly wasn't bad.
I believe a photograph can tell a story without having a story behind it; this way, the artist involves the watcher in the creative process. Something can be 'just a pretty thing' to some, but it can also recall emotions. That's the nice thing about art, I think. It often depends on subjectivity... I sometimes like the meaning I give to an image better than the meaning the artist meant to express. Though I don't think that makes the artist a bad artist; I think it's just a matter of opinion.
What art is to some, might not just be art to others. Personally, I hate the definition of 'art'. It's probably the most vague notion I've ever come across...

Geesh. You got me talking here... *lol* Never mind my ramblings... ;)

I like 'Does vengeance fail?' by the way. Good use of negative space.
